Backroads Touring - Kansas

I will be leading an advanced ride and it will mainly consist of as many minimum maintenance roads in Wabaunsee county that I can find. Of course, it may have to change due to the rain but I believe that the roads will be fine with only mud spots. I rode a dirt/mud road right north of my house last night and it was dry AND NO DUST!!!

I can try to send a gps file to anyone if they would want it but I am still new to them and have not had much luck sending them. I will give it a try though. Here is a map of the route.



Highlights will be Little Egypt Road, Bobcat Road, Box Turtle Road, and a few other good MM roads that I dont know the names of. One just north of Eskridge and I think Road H in Wabaunsee County. When I rode on Road H about a month ago, there was a washed out spot in the road and it could be worse now, just an FYI to anyone else hitting that area. But there will probably be several due to the recent rains.

Gas and lunch (time permitting) will be in Alma (about 80 miles from the start) and a second gas stop in Eskridge. Total length on the map is about 167 miles and we will keep a speedy pace.
