I AM ALMOST FINISHED WITH AN OFF ROAD SIDECAR FOR MY 07 KLR 650. I HOPE TO BO DONE WITH SHEETMETAL AND PAINT IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE INITIAL RUN WENT PRETTY WELL, HAVE A BIT OF FINE TUNING TO DO BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THIS THING WILL BE A BLAST! I WILL TRY TO POST SOME PICS IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL ON THE TRAILS.

I have had the pleasure of looking at this thing firsthand. It appears to be nicely done. Test runs will tell but so far I like it. Very Happy A good quality photo of it clearing a double would be in order Shocked

Thank you guys for the support. I should have the paint on it sunday. Look for pics to show up mon. or tues. As to the photo clearing the double? I have no doubt this thing will do it but the next photo will be me clearing a gerney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found a gentleman in sc. who is going to build a rear shock for me to help with the geometry changes between having the car on and not having it on, so........ the upgrades have begun. Hope you all get a kick out of it, it's been a fun build.

Gents i most humbly appologise for my absence from this thread but things have come up and taken my focus away from riding. I am going to ride the 18th and i WILL have the side hack on. I look foreward to meeting all of you and having a darn good time!!! see you then.

...hope all is good with you and yours swatteam...i'm sure that if you can make the beaumont ride with your rig you will get alot of support and requests to ride "monkey"..................

Well I am going to be there for sure. I have about an hour and a half ride to get there, so have the coffee on. If anyone wants to ride monkey AFTER they see this thing i'll be happy to take em for a spin. I have a waiver of my own for them to sign! See ya next sat.
