Definitely! What an incredible weekend.
Thanks to Roger and all the rider leaders for the hard work and effort in putting this together. It was my first stampede as well, and I look forward to many more to come.
Special thanks to David H. for leading and coordinating the ride I was on. It was an extraordinary ride with a great group of riders.
Cheers!
Darin

You got some Great shots, Bill. If you don't mind, will "borrow" a couple for the main ride report and give you a photo credit.
Thanks for sharing .... Best, R ger _________________

Thank you is not enough, Roger and the Ride leaders and others who pitched in, in any way. It is unbeleivably difficult to make a route, shepherd a dozen riders through backroads safely, get to lunch and gas stops at appropriate times, get yelled at by park rangers every time you pull in to the campgrounds, answer a million questions, get yelled at by park rangers when you pull out of the campgrounds, and still try to enjoy yourself. Many many thanks to all. _________________ 07 DL650

Thanks to Roger and all the ride leaders, and all the others who made it the best stampede yet. It keeps getting better, for me it was about as "better" as it gets after last year! |

Thanks to you Roger and all the great people who helped you pull off another great Stampede. The added entertainment on Saturday night was great. Already looking forward to next year. Also thanks to Greg for living up to his word of no flats on his ride. It was a great weekend _________________ 2007 Buell XB12X |

| well, another stampede in the books...had a great time talking to old friends and meeting new ones, logged almost 700 miles in four days of spectacular riding...thanx to my group (bob coopman, jc and dan anderson, jerry valdez, larry ostrom, rd woolsey, cal and wes rutledge and steve shunk) for putting up with a first time ride leader and completing a safe ride disspite all the challenges. we rode app. 185 mile loop, diamond springs and diamond creek road, elmdale, chase cnty lake, cottonwood falls, spring creek road, den creek road, sharpes creek road, matfield green for lunch (no pie), south to cassaday, east to the rock and then north across texaco hill to kembro and 50 road back to cf and cg. no flats, failures or major accidents though the heat and dust definitely became a factor by the end of the day. hopefully, a good time was had by all.............special thanx, to roger, for making it all possible...to larry ostrom, for riding herd (knowing we had a steady and reliable rider keep an eye on us all day added confidence)...to jc, for carrying the emergency gas (in unique fashion)...to dan, for soldiering through what must have been a painful stinger to the shin...and to greg, for a wild friday ride..........favorite memory, wed.,blasting across twp 57 east of cassaday, doing my best paris to dakar impression and looking up to realize i had groups of mustangs pacing me on either side...what a day! a few pics...http://photobucket.com/phildenkstampede09 (click on slideshow) |

My thanks to Roger for the major organization effort to make another great stampede!
My thanks to Glen for leading a good ride to the Alma and Eskridge area. ( good thing I took notes, otherwise with my advanced age I wouldn't be able to remember where we went.)
We had a great day for riding in the Flinthills. May the rest of our rides this year go so well.
Hope to see everyone on rides in the future.
